This rare vintage 1934 General Electric 49X491 4-blade oscillating fan is a classic piece of American engineering, offering both functionality and timeless style. The fan is in working condition, though it is slightly wobbly on startup; however, it runs smoothly once it gets going. The oscillator also seems to function correctly. The most significant issue with this fan is that the cage is bent. The cord appears to be original, but the plug has some plastic chipped out of it and will need to be replaced.
