Vintage General Electric-Telechron the Secretary AB3f58 from 1934-38 free ship

  

The General Electric Telechron 1934-38 "Secretary" AB3f58. This excellent condition vintage clock has a mahogany case with contrasting inlaid trim. The inlaid trim and the corner edges, and also the base trim are cut with a beveled edge and not the usual right angle cuts. The clock measures 5-5/8 x 5-5/8 x 3. The dial is a light ivory with black Arabic numerals.

The clock has been reconditioned both inside and out. The old varnish was removed and refinished with several new coats.

The brass was polished and covered with a special metal protective coating to prevent future tarnishing. The clock movement was cleaned, adjusted and re-lubricated with synthetic clock oil.

It has been tested and keeps accurate time. It was also fitted with a new vintage-style cord and plug. This was made in the art deco time period but I've also read descriptions of it as being English Tudor style. This original piece is a rarity and sure to become a valuable addition to your homes decorative enhancement. It is nearly an antique as it is around 90 years old.
