This is in very nice shape for the age! It is old, however, so it is not in perfect condition! It has a little light dirt and staining in the nooks and crannies. The right speaker works GREAT! Sadly, the left speaker works, but it is very weak.

It may be a bad connection, but the speaker may need replacing. In addition, there is some crackling with the volume adjustment. The knob probably just needs contact cleaner. The stylus seems to be in great shape. The sound is really good for a portable unit, and I did not notice any skipping or interference when I tested a record that was in less-than-perfect condition. The automatic drop-down feature seems to work as it was originally intended! There is a small hairline crack on the lid that shows on the inside, but you can't see it from the outside. I believe that this would have had a light in the upper left-hand corner, but there is not one there. Please view the pictures carefully before purchasing.
