A gorgeous piece of industrial design, this counter top display advertised edison bulbs. Two levels rotate independently lighting a single bulb when it reaches a point in circle. It has a plaque for the Canadian General Electric company, which had a branch in Peteborough as early as 1892. This display likely dates around 1912 when Edison bulbs became available.
While the video shows the lamp in action, the wiring is original and must be replaced before use. T is missing a plaquard on base where there is now an open hole.
