Available to you in this listing is one antique socket. This is GECO #1A1 fat boy-the basis for every socket produced since....... The most important detail i can point out to back this statement is the "raised deck" or "slotted porcelain". This socket is stamped on the shell with a rack of patent dates that most mirror the Edison moving tongue. Unfortunately this socket has a few flaws: there is a chip on the porcelain interior, the paddle has some slight separation, & the collar has been glued back togetherby someone else-not me...

Lol This socket is basically GECO's second design, and this particular model would have been the first production of this design. Please view ALL photos, and feel free to ask any question. I wouldn't let the flaws stop you on this one- I've been doing this a long time, and have only ever owned 3 of these this early....

These items have become impossible to find, so don't miss out on this most excellent piece of electrical history! BUT I DO STAND BEHIND EVERY ITEM I OFFER FOR SALE! Thanks and watch for more great early lighting coming soon!
