Vintage Universal Geneve Polerouter ELECTRIC Watch, Ref. 860100/01, Cal. UG 60

  
Are 34mm steel Universal Geneve Polerouter Electric wristwatch, Ref. 860100/01 (aka 219301-1) made in 1960s in very limited quantity. Universal presented its Polerouter Electrique in 1963, a model completing the collection that first appeared nine years earlier to celebrate the first polar route established by the Scandinavian airline SAS. The watch features a calibre UG 60 movement (based on LIP R148 reworked by UG), fine finished with 14 jewels and runs on a 1.5 Volt battery.

The movement features a stop function, and the battery lasts for approximately one year. The price of the watch when new in 1963 was CHF 150.
