Vintage Tamiya AM GENERAL M1025 HUMMER HUMVEE TA-02, New Build From 1999 + Radio

  

The radio hand set (transmitter) condition is used. Dispatched with Other 48h Courier. I Built this back in 1999 & it has been in storage since 2006 when I moved house.

It was test run once in the Lounge before I went onto other models. It ended up sitting on a shelf for 5-6 years before we moved.

Then got forgotten about in storage. Note That I have updated the radio handset to the original Futaba Attack handset (this is used and has some wear) I had when I built the hummer. The radio gear dates from the mid 1990 and works.

The handset was in a different plastic storage box at the back of the garage. I have added one photo with 4 segments in it to show the radio voltages and battery compartment and cover. And I have replaced the main photo to show the Attack Sport Radio with the M1025. Also cropped one other to remove the sabre radio from it so there can be no mistake about what is for sale.

The Bodyshell is hand painted in Desert storm 1 colours with USMC markings. The Model has many hop ups. Fully steel ball raced bearings throughout including inside gear boxes. Manta ray custom Ball Dif. Futaba Attack Sport Handset, (I have updated the pictures).

The Radio handset works but there is some slight ware inside the battery compartment. I have put batteries in it and tested it and even with the the ware it works. Its a Vintage Futaba Attack Sport from the mid1990s it supports recharging batteries if you have a power supply and rechargeable ni\cd batteries for it. You will need your own Battery for the Hummer, & Receiver (RX) and Transmitter (TX) crystals for the receiver & handset.

I have none to spare. You will also need to be careful when you remove the body shell, I have a custom antenna cable mount and the antenna cable is attached to the body shell permanently, so the shell can be removed but needs to stay very close to the car. (You can alter this yourselves if you wish).

Any marks you see on the underside of the pics are from dust and sunlight reflecting off the bubble rap I used to lay the body shell on when I removed it for the photos. There are very very few actual marks on the chassis from it being in storage. At the moment I cannot be sure which as the price alters depending on the sale price. I have been as honest as I can in the description and hopefully have included everything you need to know.
