I tested it's recording function with a mic on both left & right inputs and it works as well. The left and right external speaker jacks work as well. The DC 9V input has not been tested nor has the "Remote" input between the L & R Mic inputs. The headphone jacks are tested and working.
The antenna is complete with no bends and extends fully. So usually when testing these old radio/tape decks, thetape deck almost never works properly but the radio function does. Instead, on this one, the tape deck actially works top notch but the radio function is problematic.
I did not test the battery option but it takes 6 size D batteries. The battery compartment gas no corrosion or rust sonit most likely does work. Some of the original label/sticker is still on the upper left back.
Overall it is in very nice cosmetic condition but it does still have some dust in the hard to get to areas. It measures 15" wide x 9" tall x 4 thick and it is very heavy weighing 9 pounds, 4 oz.
This is a NICE hard to find vintage unit with the majority of working functions and it looks awesome. Please view photos for more info and condition and always feel free to ask questions.
