Vintage General Electric Luminous Arc Lamp / Street Light, Copper & Cast-Iron

  

Up for consideration is a vintage General Electric Luminous Arc Lamp in used condition. Light has been modified for indoor use. It came from the estate of a former Detroit area line worker who was using it as a chandelier over his kitchen table. Although it currently works, it may need re-wired to be safe.

Copper portion of the body shows heavy scattered dings. Cast iron & steel parts have been repainted but are surfaced rust on the interior. Plastic globe does not have any cracks. It does show substantial but inconsistant yellowing. 28" tall & 15" in diameter.
