I don't know how to make it oscillate so it may or may not oscillate - however it's multi speed foot switch and the motor, the shaft lock for height adjustment and the wiring are all in great shape - it's super strong - and the electric motor is very quiet - fan blades and the manufacturing badges are all in good shape. There are scuffs and corrosion - but the integrity of the metal solid.
