Vintage 1950's General Electric 4BC31 Germanium Audio Console-Sidecar-Mixer. 1950's General Electric Recording/Broadcast Console. This board has the ability to operate Mono, Dual Mono & Stereo. The inputs, outputs and logic have been connectoritzed with amphenol blue ribbons.

This Console comes from WOR New York City. It remained in the collection of the chief engineer for 40 years. This console has a legendary pedigree, and was maintained by a former Bell Labs employee and used in his home studio. It includes 2 Power Supplies and some spare parts.

This console was taken out of service 10 years ago and was kept in a climate control storage since. It should be gone through by a qualified tech. This console has had extensive time spent having it's inputs/outputs and logic connectorized in such a brilliant manner. Work of this quality was typical at New York Broadcast institutions of that time and man hours spent would total at just about thousand(the days of union engineers working overtime on projects that they loved).
