General Electric Old School, 1980s Vintage Boombox. Nice Sounding

  

Please read the full description before asking any questions or making any decisions. This is a General Electric Old School, 1980s Vintage Boombox. The model number is 3-5286A. It is a nice sounding piece for its age.

All the light displays and meters work. The tape deck does play nicely. The play/ stop/eject/pause buttons all work. The fast-forward and reverse buttons are not working along with cassette counter. I never tried recording with it.

Maybe with a little time and effort the fast forward and rewind buttons / switches could be fixed easily I'm sure. I never tried using it with batteries, or any of the RCA or microphone inputs.

This is as is sale since it's not working at 100% of its capacity. It's truly a really nice piece for somebody's collection.
