Up for sale is a used & rare General Electric Electrical Support Equipment Failure Effect & Criticality Analysis of the Saturn V, IU Stage Book. This document is an analysis of the effects of individual component failures in the Saturn V, IU stage ESE operation, and the resultant effects on the countdown.

Each component is analyzed in the following failure modes: premature operation, failure to operate at a prescribed time, failure to cease operation at a prescribed time, and failure during operation. IU stage ESE advanced electrical schematics were utilized as a basis for this analysis. The purpose of this report is to present a Failure Effect Analysis of the IU Stage Electrical Support Equipment (ESE) for the Saturn V Program. The primary objective of this analysis is to determine possible modes of failure for ESE components & to point out critical failure areas & their effects on the ESE mission. This book was prepared by the systems design unit of the systems engineering subsection, Apollo Support Department of General Electric Company. June 1966 is the date both stamped & printed on the front cover of this book, so I guess this book may have been made or used around this time. The approximate size of this book is around 11.1 inches tall by around 9.25 inches wide by around 1.5 inches thick. Condition of this book: This used & vintage book has some issues. The front cover of this book has some discoloration on it, mostly around the top area, the right side edge area, & the left side edge area. There are some random spots, & stains on the front cover of this book. There are some random scratches on the front cover of this book. The white plastic binding holding this book together has some random scuff marks on it & has some random scratches. The back cover of this book has some discoloration on it. There are some random spots, stains, & smears on the back cover of this book.

The top left corner edge on the back cover is somewhat bent & frayed. The top right corner edge is somewhat bent & frayed on the back cover of this book.

There are some random scratches on the back cover of this book. The inside of this book is in mostly good condition, the right side edges of some pages in this book have some discoloration on them. In conclusion, this used, vintage, & very rare General Electric.
