Antique GE General Electric Table Fan 12 Circa 1906-10 Brass Blade / Cage

  

This is great piece and all original. I just found it at an estate sale last week. The paint is 99% original with just a few touch-ups that are hard to tell. I cleaned and oiled, put a thin coat of oil on the housing that gives it a great sheen. I cleaned a little surface rust off the bottom of the edge of the base and repainted the edge, blended in great!

I left the brass clean looking a bit antique as i liked it showing some age that way. But you are welcome to polish like knew if so desired. It looks as it really is, an original cleaned 100+ year old piece. (not repainted) The fan works great and isolates perfectly. The power cord looks original and is in great shape no dry rot or cracking that i can see.

The cord to the motor that moves looks newer and in EX condition. The motor spins and sounds fine on all 3 speeds. The cage is in beautiful condition no dents or breaks.

The only thing i can find wrong is maybe a small piece broke off the top of the forward-reverse selector witch on the back? The last pic shows the fan running.
