Vintage WORKS Universal Electric Coffee Roaster No. 926 MCM Clockwork & Electric

This listing is for a Vintage Universal Electric Coffee Roaster, it appears to be labeled model/ No. It is both Clockwork & Electric powered. The roaster is turned by means of a mechanical clockwork mechanism, while the roasting feature is powered by an early electric cord. It works almost like an early plug in heater, with coils that glow in the bottom. It has some markings on the bottom, seemingly noting it as Universal Electric brand, but they are somewhat obscured. It appears to have been made in the 50s, but I have not been able to find another like it. I have near fully tested it.

I have gently wound & oiled the clockwork, and it appears to work great. The electrics also appear to function perfectly, the warm up & glow at a nice hot temperature. The only thing I have not done is actually roast coffee in it, as I do not drink it and wouldn't know how to correctly roast it either. I have lightly cleaned it, to preserve patina if it is wanted. Level of patina is buyers preference.

It appears to be complete, I do not know the key is original but it fits / works for it, and is included. Comes as shown, please see photos for details & measurements. This roaster would be an excellent vintage / mid century modern piece for either display or use in any coffee shop, home, kitchen, business, and more. An excellent piece of decor for collectors, gifting and more.
