IF YOU LIVE ON THE WEST COAST, PLEASE LOOK AWAY FROM THIS LISTING! Ahhh this tv brings me back to so many memories of Genesis gaming and watching early morning cartoons. Heck, the little doohickey I'd use to twist the Genesis rv cable into is still attached! I'm surprised it still works, given how dusty and dirty this tv clearly is!! Tested hooking it up to a Genesis, and while a picture does come in, it's quite crackly, as you can see in the photo.

I didn't attempt to adjust the contrast or hue at n the tv tho, so it looks rather saturated. Ironically, that was my last test on that tv with the Genesis, as right after that hookup, the console stopped reading games, and just black-screened. When a console isn't hooked up, we both get to see is static! And loud static too-tho, not that you'd be able to hear that through a picture? And no, I don't know why that cotton sticker is even there. Kid me must have thought it a hilariously good idea, at the time, for some reason. Was found beneath a mountain of clutter it never should have been under-for at least a decade. Terribly dusty and dirty, even after a quick wipe down. Before recently testing it, this tv hadn't been used in decades and was neglected under the same mountain of clutter.

I never thought this tv would work again so I threw away the remote when I came across it, so it's long gone. Even without the remote, the tv's menu button can be used to navigate somewhat. Another thing about the way its channels work, is that they climb or decline automatically.

Example, when you press the ">" channel button, the numbers continue to go up until one of the volume buttons are pressed to keep it on that channel. Like, if the current channel is 20 and you press ">" the numbers will automatically mill through 22, 23, 24, 25, etc until a volume button gets pressed.

Works the same way if say you wanted to go to channel 3 or 4. The automatic count would go down, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, etc, until you hit one of the volume buttons once channel 3 came around. If some kind of remote that works with this brand can be gotten, I strongly recommend it! Unless you plan to only keep this tv on channels 3 or 4, strictly for gaming.
