Vintage military GENERATOR CONTROL PANEL antique switch meter electrical display

Generator - Turbine Control Panel. This listing has multiple photos, scroll down to see them all. We recently found another one of these units in our storage facility. We were told this is a control panel, from a generator system for field hospitals, WWII or Korean war era, but we are not sure, and can not verify this.

Regardless; it's an AWESOME piece! This would make a terrific display piece in your man cave! A fantastic combination of switches, meters and circuit breakers, all mounted on an aluminum panel, with 3 large male pin connectors on back! One object is missing on the lower left side, you could easily add a meter or blank plate to this spot. None of the meter glasses are cracked or broken, some have missing paint on the rings.

The panel has scrapes and marks, small areas of missing paint. We vacuumed it, but did not clean it, in case you want that used look.

If it were cleaned and the paint touched up, it would look much better obviously. The meters all move when the item is tilted, and all the toggle switches operate. The two rotary switches on the right side are sluggish, but do rotate. The panel has a dent on the bottom, near the center. This can be seen in the profile photo showing the connectors. It is not very noticeable when viewed straight on. You could straighten this out if you choose to do so. Panel has three 28 volt bulbs on top for illumination (not tested). This item is difficult to photograph, the flat surface and meter glass can cause reflections.

The white lettering is sharper than it appears in the photos. The color of the aluminum base panel appears to be a faded black.

Under certain lighting conditions is has a purple hue. Size is 25" x 17" x 5.
