Here are some details: This is a vintage General Electric Type DG-1 Polyphase Watthour Demand Meter equipped with a mechanical paper strip-chart recorder. This is a COOL industrial piece from the 50's! Meter has the original paper roll to track usage. Lots of scuffs and marks, etc. There is no glass front, as it broke, and will need to be replaced if you choose.
I think I removed all the old broken glass, but there may still be pieces I didn't see. I also blew it out w/ dry compressed air. Lots of Brass, steel, etc. This should make for a great conversation piece or addition to your industrial decor esthetic. Please look CLOSELY at the pics.
Ask any questions we're happy to help. They may have scuffs, scratches, discoloration, odors, rust, dust, &/or signs of age. Please see pics for the visual condition. As with any vintage item, please expect there to be wear, scuffs/scratches, odors, discoloration, rust, dust, signs of age, etc.And though I may have gotten an item to power on (applies when powering on has been disclosed), due to the age, item could fail to do so at any time. Power is not indicative of working. Pics are of actual item(s). Item does not come with anything else, unless noted in description. If this is not acceptable, please send a note with your order, so we know not to upgrade.
