Vintage 1925 GE General Electric AC Motor 27468 1/4 HP 1725RPM 1/2 D Shaft

  
It turns on when plugged in. The cord looks like it ought to be replaced. The rotor is tight, so probably can use some service on the bearings. The shaft flat has some marks from prior set screws.

This was made in the day when a 1/4 hp motor weighs 22.8 pounds!
