I found this very interesting very early bipolar dynamo around year 2000 whilst on a trip to New England and it has been in my collection since. The fellow I bought it from told me that he discovered it in an old mill in Vermont or New Hampshire. It may well be the only remaining example. I don't know the maker. Could be an Edison competitor or one of the small electrical firms at the time but cannot say for sure yet it's fun thinking about. The base appears to be cast iron. The adjustable brush holders are brass and other parts are brass.

It is a great piece of electrical history. USA sales only due to recent international reciprocal tariffs to Trumps tariffs and Brexit tariffs and we don't want to deal with it.
