Included are prototypes that would not be introduced until the 1980s so it was painted under a highest security clearance. Pictured, and of great interest to Microsoft (founded in 1975), is GE's GENIGRAPHICS computer. Microsoft would eventually partner with GENIGRAPHICS. Originally created for NASA in the 1960s, GE's first public sector GENIGRAPHICS computer (the one pictured) went to AMOCO (Standard Oil) in 1973.

The painting showcases GE's past successes and future projects: i. Bringing oil & gas, agriculture and the armed forces into the computer age. The two distinct men in the greenhouse are likely identifiable GE employees, friends or relatives of Jewell, or possibly a self portrait?

One can imagine this painting sitting on an easel, welcoming stock holders as they enter a share holders meeting. R arely do internal corporation or military concept paintings make it to public market. We note minor surface scratches expected with age. Large & impressive at about 42" by 28". The AN/TPS 59 and t he PHALANX ordinance were not introduced until 1980 so the "R2-D2" PHALANX pictured has to be the top secret experimental prototype that was mounted on the deck of the USS KING in 1973.

Included are seven 1974 prints also by Jewell. These prints appear to be quite scarce, possibly handed out to stock holders? A five pound sterling silver "Bug Basket" from Buckingham Palace, the most-prized possession of the last reigning monarch of The Kingdom of Hawai'i, an artifact from The White House and Porcellian Club (the birthplace of Facebook), the first man to the moon's 1st appearance in Space, a 1906 tomb artifact from The Brotherhood of Death (The Illuminati) and an 1885 New York City " Sitting Bull " Cigar Store Indian are but a few of our most interesting pieces.
